Each house is associated with one of the twelve zodiac signs. You have your own astrological signs for each house, making your chart unique! The planets are sprinkled through your chart based on where they were at the time of your birth. Because each house carries a particular theme, the zodiac sign and any planets within that house can indicate where you are likely to see the energy manifesting the most in your life. For example, the tenth house rules over your career, so any planet in this part of the chart is likely to express itself in your work or public life.

There is something about the Moon shining brightly in the night sky that reminds us that we are part of a much larger Universe. If you want to feel the effects of the heavens above on your life and develop a deeperrelationship with cosmic energies, the best place to start is with the Moon.
From Earth, the planets can sometimes appear to be moving backward. Although this is not actually the case, when a planet does this, it is referred to as being in retrograde. Mercury retrogrades about three or four times a year. When Mercury goes retrograde, its energy goes inward instead. Our thoughts can become a little foggy and we may find we are met with delays, miscommunications, or technology breakdowns. This is a sign from the Universe that it’s time to go within and reflect on the past to see if there were any messages or information we have missed along the way. It is best to pause before moving ahead. It is best to avoid signing long-term contracts or making big commitments when Mercury is in retrograde.
Pluto is a little dark and mysterious, and when its energy is highlighted in our chart or in the sky, it often signals we are about to go through a transformation. Pluto moves the slowest of all the planets, taking 248 years to orbit the Sun. This makes Pluto’s movements even more powerful as they are so long lasting. It also means that some people will experience Plutonian energy more than others. Look to where Pluto is in the sky right now and then match its location in your chart. For example, if Pluto is currently at 1 degree of Aquarius, look to where 1 degree of Aquarius falls in your chart. If Pluto is within a few degrees of your ascendant, descendant, nadir, or any of your natal planets, that area of your life will be under Pluto’s spell of transformation. If you do have Pluto crossing a sensitive point in your chart or aligning with your Sun or Moon, know that it is pretty special!
